Dental crowns are made of natural-looking porcelain material and provide a lifelike appearance and function. Our doctors may recommend dental crowns to cover and protect a cracked tooth, teeth with extensive decay or misshapen teeth. To place dental crowns, we remove damaged tooth structure and reconstruct internal portions with a special buildup material. Impressions of these teeth are then taken and sent to our lab to create your custom dental crowns. Temporary dental crowns are worn while your permanent restorations are being made. Once complete, we remove the temporaries and bond your lifelike dental crowns in place for a seamless appearance and fully restored biting or chewing function.

Complete Your Smile with a Dental Bridge

Dental bridges fill spaces left behind when teeth are lost and bring biting function and cosmetic appeal back to your smile. Bridges consist of two or more dental crowns fused together to “bridge” an open space between two teeth and appear to rise naturally from the gum line. Each end of the bridge sits over teeth adjacent to a missing tooth site and relies on these anchor teeth for support. To place a bridge, we prepare support teeth by removing some of the enamel. This allows each end of the bridge to fit securely and comfortably over these anchor teeth. Our team takes an impression of the area for our lab and places a temporary bridge to maintain the space. When your new bridge is complete, we cement it in place and check your bite for comfort.
